Manufactured with an increased percentage of cobalt for greater wear resistance, the 25000 Series is engineered to handle steels up to a tensile strength of <900N, plus tougher materials including stainless steel, aluminum and plastics. The higher cobalt content delivers longer cutting life in mild steel and noticeably better performance in more exotic alloys, without sacrificing tool durability.
  • Made from M42 cobalt for extended tool life and use on tougher materials.
  • Designed to withstand higher temperatures and cutting harder materials.
  • Available from 7/16” to 3” in diameter.
  • Tapping sizes and 1” to 4” depths of cut available.
What are the key features of 25000 Series M42 Cobalt annular cutters?

Our 25000 Series cutters are made from M42 High Speed Steel with additional cobalt, available from 7/16” to 3” diameter (sizes up to 4” available) in 1” to 4” depths of cut, with a 3/4” Weldon shank and pilot pins supplied with every cutter.

What is the benefit of M42 cobalt annular cutters?

The added cobalt gives up to 30% longer life than M2 cutters and is designed to withstand higher temperatures and cut harder materials, including stainless steel and cast iron.

What can I use 25000 Series annular cutters with?

They fit any magnetic drill with a 3/4” Weldon shank and are suitable for drilling a range of steels, stainless steel, aluminium, copper/brass and cast iron.
